Introducing Michael Vanderkolk: a seasoned plastics engineer with three decades of invaluable experience in operations and a growing passion for precision manufacturing. Based in the heart of West Michigan, Michael has fused his engineering background with a forward-thinking vision for agricultural innovation.

After a decade of success running a mosquito and tick control business, Michael recognized the potential for drones to transform pesticide application. As a licensed and insured operator and certified FAA Part 107 pilot,  he embraced unmanned aerial technology to improve efficiency and safety in the field.

But Michael’s impact doesn’t stop at application. With a strong foundation in engineering and operations, he is deeply invested in developing dependable, practical support equipment for ag drone pilots—including Quantum Drone Systems’ Tiny Tender, Teeny Tiny Tender, and other tools built by pilots, for pilots.

Michael’s unique blend of field experience and manufacturing expertise positions him at the forefront of UAV-driven ag solutions—reshaping how drone pilots work and operate across the Midwest and beyond
